New editorial nameplate for our daily newspaper, Roll Call. Two of their daily publications were combined into one so this was used as an opportunity to redesign it from top to bottom. Editorial team asked me to design a new nameplate for this publication. Roll Call is known for it's "insider view" into Congress so I used a photo of the capitol rotunda. Roll Call offers its readers a unique perspective into Congress and my design was chosen by leadership because it provided a fresh look to the future while also preserving the brand's history.
